Welcome aboard the Duyung the sail boat that can guide you in to the best diving in Selayar and give you the chance to dive dive dive as much as you can and the opportunity to see Hammerhead, Tiger, White tip and Black tip sharks. You also have the opportunity to see Manatees, Dolphins, Turtles, Napoleon, Big tunas, Eagle ray, Sting rays, Nudibranchs and a big variety of other fish and mammals.
Duyung will make stops at the great waterfalls and uninhabited beaches at the southern end of this beautiful island.
Day by day itinerary
Day #1.: Airport or Hotel pick up Makassar to Bira.
Departures are from of Makassar, South Sulawesi (also known as Ujung Pandang). Around 3 p.m.the comfortable air-condition arrives in Bira.
A cold drink awaits you on the Duyung for the start of your dive or sailing adventure
We will do a check up dive in Bira (Diving in Bira is fantastic)and and if people want to do a night dive it is as well possible. The vessels will depart around 11 p.m. for the eastern coast of Selayar.
2.Day: Our dive sites are all in the Southern most part of Pulau Selayar. We should arrive in the very early morning, allowing our first dive at the dive site Cumi Cumi (barracuda dive) to be taken before breakfast. We will anchor in the Dugong bay and have breakfast on Duyung coach house roof and hope to see one of these big sea cows. Sometimes you can even see them during the dive at Cumi Cumi. Today will be allocated to a full day of diving, with an option to trek into the coastal jungle for a one or two hour waterfall visit. From our Dugong bay, we can go by speedboat to the village;Jamen; the only village at the eastern coats of Selayar trek for approximately 30 minutes to the base of a 7 tiered waterfall of cool, crystal-clear spring water. This provides a shower experience and is well worth filming. Nearby the Dugong bay are more dive sites
3.Day:Today will be allocated to a full day of diving at the southern part of Selayar. All these dive sites we will reach easy by speed boat. BBQ at the white beach you see on the photo above.
4.Day: Full day diving in that fantastic area. Sunset cruise back to Bira.
5.Day: Our arrival is scheduled for 06 a.m. , in the harbor of Bira, South Sulawesi. Our bus will be standing by to return passengers to Makassar. For those interested, extensions can be made with any of the Bira bungalow resorts, and return to Makassar can be arranged at any time.

Takabonerate is the biggest Atoll in Indonesia and the third biggest in the world.
It is deep water around this Atoll does it very interesting for big fish Our dive boat Duyung operate since four years in Takabonerate ,so we found the best dive sites for your diving holiday. The best time to do a dive live aboard Takabonerate trip is in October-November and March-April On of the good dive sites are in Taka Garlarand ,what you can see on the right,endless walls going down in steps until 432 m. Komodo Flores on board DUYUNG
1. Day: 8.30 a.m. Merpati Bali to Labuan Bacho, Flores. Pick up at airport LB 11.00 a.m.
at 15 min drive to the harbor. Welcome lunch and cruise to the first dive site at northern
island Sabayor Kel (famous dive site mini wall,with no current, very easy diving to start with.
Sunset cruise to the mooring Gililawa Laut and night dive there.
2. Day: Four times diving of the mooring by speedboat (this are one of the best dive sites in Komodo national marine park. (Crystal Boomi and Castle Rock and one light house dive site there we could see mantas)
3. Day: 4 a.m. cruise to Banta famous 5 hours to the dive site called GPS point its about 2 miles of the coast
famous for all kind of sharks also hammerheads. Nearby are two more dive sites at the coast at Banta Island.(only with good weather conditions)
4.Day: At Lunch time we will cruise back to Komodo national marine park into a big protected bay at Komodo Island and we mooring the Duyung there
In this bay(near Gililawa Darat) we enter the water before sunset, so its a half night dive. This dive site is famous for the mandarin fish and can be only be spotted at this time of the day.
5.Day: Early in the morning we we will cruise to famous dive site Batu Bolong (schools of rainbow runner
sharks big napoleons are guaranteed).This dive site best to dive in slag tide. This place can have very strong current("current city"),then it is impossible to dive all around the rock. Until we wait for the right time we have different options nearby.
In case we have to wait for slag for Batu Bolong we can take the speedboat and run the boat at the coastline at Gilimakaser there are often Mantas spotted as well or we use the time and dive at Tatawa Kecil or Tatawa Besar.
The mooring at pink Beach is our anchor place in the night . On the way there is a another very good dive site called Batu Tiga.
6.Day: Cruise down south Rinja to Cannibal Rock,famous for Macro creatures or to Manta valley
One the way are more dive like sites Three Sisters and Palestine (only in wet season December to March)
7.Day: Cannibal Rock for Macro creatures fans is excellent,but the the water is very cold.Cruise back to south Rinja.
8.Day: early in the morning we will see the Komodo Dragons in Rinja and after cruise back to reach the plane at 13.00 back to Bali.
