The southern part of Misool (more than 2000 km2) belongs to the largest yet least developed islands of Raja Ampat.

This tour is offered in 4 different variations all 12 Days/11 Nights.

1. Misool & Banda Sea

On this tour you will visit some of the best dive sites between Moluccas and Raja Ampat. Dives in the historic Banda Islands, as well as the coral and macro-creatures at Misool, are some of the many attractions found on this tour.

Ambon has the reputation of a great muck diving destination, but also offers beautiful reef dives. At dive sites such as Air Manis and Laha there are always many extraordinary and rare marine creatures to be discoverd. At Pulau Tiga you will find beautiful reefs and diverse fish life.

The next destination of the tour are the dive sites at the island of Nusa Laut. Here you can always expect an abundance of fish, strong currents, but also magnificent underwater scenery: A treat even for spoiled divers.

One of the best mandarin fish dives, a lava flow with fast-growing corals and an exceptionally beautiful underwater landscape, are all part of the diving experience at the Banda Islands. There are many dive sites with large quantities of fish. Of course, we also offer a shore excursion to the Banda Islands where we visit the historic forts of the Dutch occupiers.

After a long crossing, we will reach one of the best diving areas of Raja Ampat. At the island of Misool our guests can expect a colorful mix of beautiful reefs, macro-creatures, many fish, sharks and wobegongs, but sometimes also strong currents. Dive sites like Fiabacet and Gorgonian Passage make every diver’s heart beat faster. With the highest biodiversity ever, this dive site has gained worldwide fame.

2. Misool & Halmahera

Without a doubt, West Papua is the best dive site in Indonesia and one of the best dive destinations in the world. The Moluccas still offer many undeveloped areas.

The tour leads from Sorong to the underwater highlights of Misool. Ocean dives with excellent visibility are offered by the dive sites at Pulau Pisang. In the South we will dive in strong currents rich with fish. Nearby there are critter dives on black volcanic sand.

At the Guraici Archipelago, some of Halmahera’s best dive sites await us, with cliff faces, colorful reefs, and shoals of reef fish.

The dive sites of Pulau Tifure (Pulau Gureda) offer shoals of fish and intact coral gardens. The last day of diving takes place in the critter Eldorado Lembeh.

The tour ends in Bitung. We also offer this tour in the opposite direction from Bitung to Sorong.

3. Misool & Triton Bay

At the island of Misool our guests can expect a colorful mix of beautiful reefs, macro-creatures, many fish, sharks and wobegongs, but sometimes also strong currents. Dive sites like Fiabacet and Gorgonian Passage make every diver’s heart beat faster. With the highest biodiversity ever, this great diving area has already gained worldwide fame.

Triton Bay, at the southeastern end of the ‘bird head’ of New Guinea, is considered a diving site of absolute world class with its own unique attractions. Triton Bay is still relatively infrequently dived. The wonderful biodiversity, unique soft coral gardens, huge forests of black coral and rugged rocks provide fantastic scenery both above and below water.

4. Pearls of Banda & Misool

This tour brings us to the best dive sites between the Moluccas and Raja Ampat. Dive sites with opportunities for big fish, dives at the historic Banda Islands, as well as the corals and macro-organisms at Misool, make up the charm of this tour.

At the island of Pulau Nila, there are the 2 atolls Dusborgh and Nil Desperandum, which go several thousand meters in depth and are covered in the upper part with beautiful hard corals. With a bit of luck you will encounter hammerhead sharks and other pelagic fish.

An overwhelming mandarin fish dive, a lava flow with fast-growing corals, as well as exceptional underwater scenery are all part of the diving experience at the Banda Islands, plus a large fish population at many of the dive sites. Of course, we also offer a shore excursion to the Banda Islands, where we will visit the historic forts of the Dutch occupiers.

Triton Bay, located at the Southeastern end of the ‘bird head’ of New Guinea, is considered a dive site of absolute world class with its own unique fascination. The island has been dived infrequently and is equipped with a wonderful biodiversity. Unique soft coral gardens, huge forests of black coral and craggy rocks provide fantastic scenery both above and under water. East Banda is an infrequently visited but diverse tropical island landscape, where crystal clear waters, beautiful cliffs and endless gardens of table corals make every diver’s heart beat faster. At the strog current dive sites we encounter, for example, schools of barracudas and Napoleon fish of imposing size.
